Finally, some pictures. She arrived in Alabama from Oregon on the 25th of May, a Saturday.
Pretty much what I expected. A solid rust free body, I mean.... No rust, zero, nada. 45 years in storage has left a few gremlens, exhaust is shot, brakes apply randomly, electrical issues. But it starts and runs great.

Interior isn't bad, driver seat is a little rough, carpet is ok. Being the survivor that it is I want to keep as much originality as possible.

I messed with it all day Sunday. A wash helped. About 75% of the marks on the body are scuffs that will buff out. The original paint is heavily oxidized and will come back nicely. I installed the dual snorkel I got from Matt, (thanks Matt). Tires are just rollers, I have a set of 215 70 14 whitewalls coming. The OEM wheel covers really set it off to.

I could see a broadcast sheet by peeking under the seat, got all excited and removed the seat to try and salvage it. Most of it was gone though, disappointing. Then I thought to remove the panel from the driver seat back and discovered two near perfect copy's. There may be more still in the car but 2 and a half is pretty good so the rest can stay where they are.

Congratulations! Nice score. The car looks so much better with the original style wheel covers. Also it would look even better without the shackles. Just a suggestion.

This old car must have been road hard and put away wet. It has all the old school mistakes from back in the 70's. The exhaust was "custom" with by pass cut outs closed with juice cans and glass pack mufflers. slotted wheels with giant tires, air shocks, aftermarket air filter, and rear spring shackles from hell. Nothing permanent though, all will be brought back to OEM.

Wow, she looks great! A little love will go a long way on that car, good score.

Awesome car. Good move on the wheel covers, they really class it up.
Best of luck with her!

Terrific car, Wil. I am so glad you got it. And way-ta-go on finding those extra build sheets! When the time comes, yer gonna need a good proctologist to remove that horse shoe from yer arse.

I love it. My wife keeps asking me what project I am going to do next. Threads like this don't help. A convertible would be a nice next challenge.

photos of broadcast sheets. Funny thing, one is printed with black ink and the other with red. Also, 1st line of the "build codes" shows code 70 in the clutch and brake box of one sheet, and code 69 in the same box on the other sheet.

Pretty much a stripper for a high end car. Fine with me, less to fix.
I see nothing to indicate a special order either.

NOTE: I noticed, based on the VIN that the red printed sheet is a entirely different car.

Car is cool as hell.
Are those slots 15" BTW?
Step off my kool-aid!

I believe they are 15". The 4th one may still be available. It didn't make the trip for some reason. Tire wouldn't hold air. I have no use for them, (Hummmmm, coffee table perhaps)?
Pm sent, if Dave hadn't already claimed them.

Congratulations on the car, Will! I'm sure you'll have it ready, and correct, in no time.
