Well, been working on this gem for a few months.

Recent paint . 64 mercury grill .
Lowered . shaved handles.
Last week I made a headliner for it. And started putting the t bird interior in.

Hope to soon pull the 400 &727 and install the 318 & 5 speed ..

Looking for some fast top interior panels in decent shape.
A 60-62 imperial or 63-64 new yorker steering wheel. " square one"
And a set of late 70s chrysler aluminum wheels.. "the solid dish ones "

im serious...it looks like it fits in pretty well...bottom seems raised a bit in the front, but otherwise the rest is looking pretty stable and like it fits well.
I agree, but I figured that most people will confuse it with another car, especially if the interior is T-bird labeled. The front if the rear seat does seem a little high, but if it's still stock, it fits surprisingly well.

i love the tbird interior...what sort of issues do you see arising on installing it?

The seat bottom doesn't meet the floor well. Plan to remove the bottom of the factory seat and weld it in so it fits properly.
The seat back, armrest and filler seem like they should fit with little work.

Nobody knew what it was before.
Surely they will have no idea now..

Also swapped the 3.23 sure grip for a 2.76 one legger. Hopefully Monday we will be painting the top.

It won't take very long and people will be all over you for that suregrip. I'm one of the purists mentioned above but still like what your are doing. Late to this thread but will continue to monitor it.

What ya doing with the sure grip? I'm one of those who will (is) jump(ing) all over that.

It's just going to sit in the garage.
I have two 3.23 and one 3.91 sure grips laying around.
But i still have projects waiting..
If i decide to sell one or all.
I will message you.
