It's just perfect, love waking up to 90 degrees and heat indexes of 100 plus. Love the humidity!! Makes me really want that 1st cup of hot coffee. Sweating just walking to the shop is another bonus.
Its cooler today.... dangit!!!!

93 here. Humidity is down to 50% today so it "feels like" 99. How in the hell is it 76 in Florida?

even with all the work i have been doing lately, I can only work for about 30 mins at a time before i have to go back in and rest for a bit...the heat isnt bad for me, but the 90%+ humidity makes me soaking wet in just a few minutes.

Heat is 97°F, feels like 111°F. Richmond area.

I just try to get up early and get projects done before 1pm; then hide for the rest of the day.

At least with all the sweating, I can drink on Saturday night and all the toxins and leftover trash are sweated out by midday Sunday.

Low 90's here in SW Pennsylvania but the dew point is 73 which humid as hell. Real feel about 102. I had the Fury out yesterday for the first time after replacing the compressor crank seals, expansion valve, receiver drier and recharging with my stash of R12. 35 degrees at the center dash vent on max a/c at idle. I was the coolest guy pulling into the cruise. lol :D

All I hear about is this awful heat around here. How you gotta hydrate, keep pets inside, don’t mow your lawn yadda yadda yadda. What the heck?
Isn’t this the exact same weather we go on vacations to Florida for in March?
Where we walk all day chasing Mickey and golfing?

Friday and Saturday were rough. 110 with the heat index, 93 without. I was outside a lot during, and I could only take so much before I had to go inside. I guess I’m finding out what they mean when they issue dangerous heat warnings “that can affect children and SENIORS”. Its always been easy for me to break a sweat, but I can only take it for short durations now.

I came back to work after five days, heat index 116, and went back into the hottest most humid spot in the building and soaked it in! Got right back into normalcy, and the night was fine. Everyone who complained had a long night. On a positive note, my shift was the first in two days to not have anyone leave due to heat related reasons, but we were just starting our rotation and most of us were freshly rested. It sucks, but I'm used to it after dealing with it every day at work. I'm also much more aware if the signs of being too hot, and know when to quit.

It's called summer. been happening as long as I've been on this rock.
They weathermen started reporting forecasted heat index instead of temperatures cuz it sounds more alarming. It's already hot at 95°. Telling me the heat index is 104° doesn't change a thing but put people in a panic. It's July. It's hot. Same as last July. And the July before that. And the July.....you get the picture.

The weather people do the same **** in the Winter with the "Feels Like" Temp.or the Wind chill factor. Pure Embellishment !
