Been a singer and horn player since I was 9, and now play the Bass. I collect coffee mugs - yep! Have five cabinets full. Used to bowl a lot but haven't since '01; did have a 192 average. Love planes and trains too. And I LOVE Christmas! I set up 6 village scenes and 4 trees!

Some of the Christmas Mugs I set out for our annual Open House in December. (Not me pictured.)

Since moving up to Northern BC and have acreage that backs out onto crown land with trails everywhere my youngest daughter and I love to head out on the quads. Last year we made a trip to my brother cabin out in the sticks and rod quads for days on the logging trails up there checking out old abandoned mines and equipment, towns, cabins etc.

Taken last year on our trip....

Drove my 1st set of wheelz when I waz 12. ah 1939 Dodge 1 1/2 ton 5 spd. haulin' oats out of the fields with my Gramps. Santa brought me my 1st .22 rifle 2 yearz before that when I waz 10. Tore my first clock apart at about the same age, and put it back together so it would run but without the alarm bell striker put back in. Bought my 1st car(37 ford 2 door sedan for $12 when I waz 15). On the 12th of August 1980 7 long gunz, 4 Winchesters all pre '64 M70s, .257 Roberts, 243, 270 .06 and 1 Winchester pre '64 M61 .22mag., Browning Sweet 16 Model V 4 digit serial number, 1 Browning .22 T-bolt "plinker", and ah 22-250 custom thumb hole stock tack driver. All the long guns were appropriately scoped for their duty's in killing different critterz and bustin' paper. 1 hand gun, S&W M17 K.22. 2 14K watches, 1 22 size Abe Lincoln 23 Jewel 5 shades of gold hunter case and my wife's 10 size 21 jewel pendent hunter case with ah 60" long 14K pendent chain W/slider along with 14 Single blade lock back knives walked out of our home and the S.O.B.z walked rite past 'bout 20K worth of tools and never touched 'um and then missed and left without my model 29 Dirty Harry .44 Mag an My .380 LLama house gun. Shortly after that break in I bought my 300 Hurst, and shortly after that I bought my wife a '68 Barracuda convertible which I did a ground up for her, and shortly after that I found the Batwagon languishing in ah back yard in Anaheim, Ca. and I still can not go to a Gun , Knife, or Watch, show with out looking for my **** and it'z too painful so I just don't do it anymore, Jer

That's a little specific. You must have some inside info. I was going to guess 556/223 since I don't think 22 is going to accurately fly to 600 yrd.

My questions are standing or bench rest? Auto or bolt gun? Either way it's good grouping.

I was shooting prone from a rest. One of those cheap Caldwell rests and a rear bag. It’s an ar-15 in 223 Wylde. I do plan on doing service rifle competitions but with two little ones under two... it can be difficult.

Cool! And a trombonist!! Usually in the collector car world I'm the only pro musician, but I've noted a few musicians here on FCBO, some being pro and others just enjoying a satisfying hobby.

@mopar_4life - Those are very nice manually operated pitch approximators - do you play classical, jazz, everything? In an orchestra or freelancing?

I do a little of everything. I am currently serving in the US Army Bands. I mostly focus on classical and some Popular (NO Brass Band style ). I did the whole long term college thing and ended up with a Doctorate in trombone and decided that I wanted to serve so here I am. Don’t regret any moment of it.

Hard to believe I have ah degree isn't it. My Wife told me when we first met that I needed to find someone that would help me with my Term Paperz. That waz in the fall of '62. And immediately knowing I'd found that someone we tied the knot over Christmas break 10 weekz later and she'z been auditing my writing since then, so live with it. And Happy Trailz. Jer

"a Doctorate in Trombone"
Much respect. I filed Trombone and Pedal Steel under "leave it to the masters" YEARS ago.
