C-bodies in France.

Thanks Olivier! I did some digging on my side over lunch, and found that it was initially listed in Tocoma, WA last year; the listed price was $1,750 -- wonder how much your Oregon Classic compatriot sold it for:

The Classic Cars link does not work any more, BTW, but Google has saved it together with 20+ photos. I posted it a few in this thread:

I did the same digging a few weeks back. It peaked my interest when I saw the VIN. I just can't...

Nice search !
Oregon classic sold it for around 6000 or 5000e in france i think. it was very cheap here. the 2 cars were sold in 1 day.

Hi Xavier (and sorry for the wrong name),

The cars are not the same. Among the differences: 360 engine vs. 383, Custom vs. Brougham, sedan vs. HT. So, the Washington car is not in Germany (unless Carsten has since learned otherwise).

Ps: Does the $6k price include shipping and taxes? If so then it’s not just cheap, it’s a steal. If not then your contact in Oregon did well.

yes it was all included. He always sell a car with all included when he give a price.
in fact he was aware of the global shape ofthe car and did want to sell fast.

I like the detailed pictures he gave in his ad and the inspection he carries out. Looks like a good resource for folks buying cars in the Pacific Northwest.

yes, The imperial was sold some years ago. it is still in France but i do not have any news . :(
i think i'll buy a 69 coupe next time.

The hurst is still mine and will start restoration very soon i hope.
