Not mine but interested. The car is listed on Facebook marketplace in NH so NO Craigslist link.

Hey Gents - been off the forum for a bit but if you’ve been on this forum for some time you know of this car or have at least seen it around. From what I can see is the car has been for sale on and off for almost 3 years. (Thread Below)

For Sale - 1969 Imperial 2 dr

But what I’ve also seen is that no one has contacted the seller (at least and has reported back) Has ANYONE seen this car before in person? Or know anything about it? I’m attempting to talk to the seller now to discuss the car. Possibly coming look at it when I am home in Connecticut during Thanksgiving.

At that price $65k, it will be for sale for a very long time. Could find about a dozen or more in similar condition for that money.

Sorry mate - accidentally put 1 too many zeros. Fixed price. $6,500. In the past I’ve seen the car listed for $5,000 so I’m sure the car can be had for less.

I tried to find out more about the car the first time around. I have no idea why the would keep advertising it and then fail to follow up on any requests for information. Tried several times - nothing.

But that is fine, I bought a much better one instead.

The seller was able to send pictures. Unfortunately looks lot the car needs a good bit of work and cleaning, specially the interior.
I think a big majority of the bad look is that the car is physically dirty and needs a deep detailing but besides that the rear window under the vinyl and quarters look decent, probably from being a CA car.
Motor spins but someone stole the radiator and needs a starter.

I’d love to own a 2 Door 69-71 Imperial but I think this one is a tad too much and more than I’m willing to mess with.

Car looks like a $3200.00 to $3500.00 car. Car not that bad shape. May drop the price to fix all the problems with it. Worth offering the seller that amount. Whats it gonna hurt. All he can say is no..

I’ll probably go up to see this car this weekend. I’m looking for a driver, and while this may not need everything in the world, I already have projects that I need to get to. If I got this I wouldn’t be able to do it justice for a guaranteed 4 years because of work, maybe more. Nevertheless I’d still love a 2 Door Imperial

Offer him what u think its worth. Buy it. store it if u cant get to workin on it. I bought mine in 2005 and I have not ever worked or driven it since I drove it home from Detroit because of other projects and life events. Trust me this car is in good shape and is a easy resto from what I seen and have dealt with. Work on it when u can.

again...a very tempting project car...but asking price is beyond me

The fact that it never ended up as a derby car is notable...deserves to be saved for sure.

Good luck!
