1970 B5 Sport Fury GT...Critters folly....back to basics

thinkin e brake as well.....Graham couldn't id it..thinkin aftermarket...will have a closer look at shifter and brake tomorrow between bouncein about....
did another check on ac vacuum lines after second guessing myself...all good there..hate surprises
Also the lack of a shroud was holding me up and not narry one about for under 300$ by time it reach's me..have a problem paying that much for a piece of plastic so grabbed the one that was the wrong shroud and made it fit...Rawhide..no prisoners
ust letting things on it dry up overnight then in she gos again...fenders and as much as l can get on tomorrow includeing grille and lights ect...wana test fit everything to see what lm missing or needs to be done..buncha parts inbound as well to help finish of engine bay....
What a day,,,that shroud never had a chance.....pics tommorow

Ill throw e-brake switch onto the table...

I am not familiar with that part on any C body 1973 and earlier at least. I would wager it is a key in ignition buzzer as well, but for a later model, perhaps a formal.

think l'll be takeing closer look at shifter tomorrow....don't remember takeing it off....
found this pic looking for shifter parts

The switch that is on that shifter is for the reverse lights on a 68 and maybe 69 model. By 70 the reverse light switch was routed through the neutral start switch.

and according to your post back on page 22 of your thread, you have a 1970 model transmission, which is good. because there are some internal parts that are specific for 1970 in order to get the reverse lights to work properly

Amazing work.
Looked at your mystery switch, I don't have one as far as I know. I don't know what the factory cruise uses to sense braking, maybe a switch like that. If it doesn't have any Mopar stampings then it's most likely from an after market cruise.

dose have Chrysler markins but Graham had a boo and believe is aftermarket...may have also been dropped in somewhere and is a wayward part from another type of car...Shure someone woulda recognized this switch by now if it was a Fury part...

fenders on...need hood and friends to do final adjustment...them puppys are heavy and don't have access to..
