a lovely color, hope you can get her if you wish.
I wonder wether that´s a B5 / Q5 car or a rattle can repaint that´s been thrown onto B1 color.

It's FQ5 in my eyes.
It looks like cheap overspray to me . There are big chunks of paint peeling off the fender as if it doesn't stick onto the body because someone didn't use primer properly. The paint coming through looks like sanded B1 blue.
2nd point is the condition of the paint doesn't match the metal. The bubbles around the front emblem don't look like rust but like loose paint and I can't spot that many rustholes as I would expect of a car with that kind of paint. But that's just a guess, those 2 pictures don't show too much

Here is the 72 Coupe at Chase auto parts, was originally teal with white top and white buckets, The seats are still there and not that bad! The cars them self's on the other hand, Im afraid are good only for parts!
OK folks, I am putting up for sale a 1973 Imperial that I bought in early summer. I bought her to rescue her from the sun in Arizona, where she had sat outside for 10 years. I named her Elsie, in honor of the initial owner (I have paperwork going back to the original warranty registration!).
@71Polara383 and I were told by the seller that she ran when parked, and that the only reason why she was parked is a run of bad gas. In July, Wyatt discovered that the engine does not turn. In the same vein, the interior is not quite as nice as I was hoping it to be based on the pics I was sent. I thought that only the dash would need replacing and the door panels would need retreating, but the interior also requires a re-upholstery and a new headliner.
Bottom line, there is too much work here for me given I now have three cars in my stable and that's the most I want at any time. I trust that others will want to take it as a solid project.
The good news is that this car only has 23k miles (with records from new to confirm the mileage) and has virtually no rust. The photos below show the two spots that do have a bit of rust -- one on the trunk, and another in the rear quarter on the passenger side. The metal is absolutely straight, and the underside is clean.
I paid $2.3k back in July. @DocMcNeedy has his hands full and can't quite treat a non-running Imp for the next few months, so I am putting her up here for sale here before advertising her more broadly. I have higher-res pics, if desired.

The car has been stored under cover since it was delivered to Wyatt's shop, and she has been spending the early winter inside. Here is a great picture that Wyatt took last week. Not only does it provide a more artistic view of Elsie than the “dissection” above does, but it also shows how straight the metal is.

Yes indeed, a nice car, how's yours (CRV) in South Australia progressing???
Our place is up for sale, so it's been busy lately, I'm hoping to start on it this Christmas break
