Good Afternoon,

We have jumped on as a site sponsor to have a place to interact with our customers and provide as much information about our products as possible. We look forward to answering any questions you may have about our Quick Ratio Mopar steering as well as any other products we manufacture. Thank you and look forward to your questions / feedback.

I saw a list that didn't include my cars. Do you have anything specific for '65 ~ '73 C bodies?

ahoy!

thanks for joining us

if i may be so bold as to speak for the board, id say, our biggest pain IMO, probably besides disc brakes, is the steering linkage, specifically the pitman arms for power steering.

if you had a box of pitman arms, or a swap option, youd probably sell more than a few.

and we have to adapt a land rover jaguar hockey puck rag joint in the steering neck.

what else, lads?

Hey Saylor, We made the boxes to fit original pitman arms. Didn't realize you had an issue sourcing them for the C bodies. Something we can look into for sure as well as the rag joint. Thanks!

+5 thanks already :) I do believe you are on to something :)

IIRC its ONLY the power steering pitman that is scarce. the manual pitman is generally available. the arm is good but the joint is wore out - I dunno if an end consumer could press out that balljoint and repin it if we had replacement joints?? as is now u chunk the whole arm and start new :/

also just to point out, on the c bodies our oil pan has a notch in it for the arm to travel full travel lock to lock. dunno if that's every mopar or just the boats.

ive never done the rag joint R&R but I have read about it on this forum. someone - jump in on this post and describe what we need!

Who knows what the difference is? A shop put a manual arm on my Fury in the mid seventies, I had no idea until I changed the oil and saw MANUAL cast in the part. Other than seeing that I'd noticed no difference at all. I made them change it because of MANUAL being cast into it. Since it fit, I presume the difference is in the ratio, or C/C distance?

I have seen that PST offers an arm for both manual and power. Manual arm is the top arm in the picture ($45.00) Power arm is the bottom one ($153.00) Seems to be some very subtle differences.

we need Mr. Steering to confirm, but from wht I understood it throws the ratio off, like 1 side will pin to lock faster/less turns than the other side. I don't know how to say it. and I don't know if its true or not. I also heard the center link wont be parallel anymore if you look at it you are supposed to be able to tell.

that's all I got.
