Found them.

What can I say Stan, I sometimes had to prostitute myself. :BangHead:

I hear ya Chris. We once had a customer who owned not one, but two ORIGINAL Cobras. Both nice. One was CSX 2007, a prototype, the other CSX 3115, a 427. He wanted both customized as a matching pair, paint, interior, gauges etc. He paid dearly but it hurt.

My biggest issue with scoops on slabs is that I feel that the original center line of the hood would need to be entirely cancelled for scoops not to look goofy... which this solution does well.

I just love that line on slabs so much when driving ... I couldn’t imagine sacrificing it on my car.

Yes and the center of the Polara hood protrudes out with the Challenger hood raised area matching up with it. Does almost make it look like it belongs on there.

Now that is fantastic looking!

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I have several "I wish I had..." things that didn't come to fruition. Having your talents unleashed on Bittersweet was one of them. :)

I wonder what it is bout the car that makes people wanna sell so soon after buying it.. I think is cool and unique. But ever since Stan sold her, she’s been passed around like a Hair Brush on picture day.. Hmmm
Hi John, Stan is unlikely to want to answer this, but here are some of the unfortunate facts about this car. Stan had warmed the engine during rebuild, bumped compression a bit... then one of the earlier purchasers decided it would be a good idea to run N2O through her. :BangHead:
Rough chronological order... built and beautiful, sold to the guy who loves stickers and scoops, sold to someone else who thought she needed laughing gas, sold as a hurt but running car to various speculators with little knowledge (remember the one who wanted to pass her off as original?), stored unlovingly outdoors for too much of the time along the way... I really can't separate all of the owners, and possibly have counted the sins of one as two different people, but I probably missed several owners along the way.

The fella who bought her from Stan was a member her, but I don't think has had the guts to comeback in and speak about her since shortly after he butchered the hood. The car still isn't and never will be exactly what you'd call fast... really good for a Formal is way different than rocking the drag strip. Non of the others have made an appearance here so far as I know. Likely a few found us, but read enough to know they wouldn't become instant heroes for buying her, and slinked off to less knowledgeable parts of the internet where they might receive praise.

Right now, she isn't so bad... but she has been outdoors too long and rust has started at every body seam, the top needs replaced, really she needs just too much work/money into cosmetics to be worth a penny over $5k, and 5k accounts for a well working driveline (I have serious misgivings regarding the quality of work performed during her last rebuild).

In Ocala this year...

Notice the rust down in the cowl and lack of screens... I'd buy her today... $4k because I think she's kind of neat and I'm attaching sentimental value that Stan built her once... but she's a $2500 Formal all day long.

Never mind the car's overall general deterioration, it's the drivetrain I wouldn't trust.
This is breaking my heart.

Thought you didn't care .... the exact words if I recall " I'm over it".

:lol: i recall those words from one of the four times my brown car resurfaced.
