Again....

Ok, I tried, but the temporary windshield made it look way over the top. I think I got the length correct though......

I'm sorry guys but...
I never liked high impact colors. Even back in the day.
Maybe it was where I grew up but we would all rag on the out of town guys who showed up with these colors. Lime green put you ahead of the list.
Behind the Wing guys.

I don't mind the high impact colors on B & E cars.

Not so much on A & C cars.

Ummm... aren't you the one who hacked it in there?:poke:

Once you start the fire, who knows who's gonna feed it....
Car got hurt, and then rebuilt to "quick flip" quality... no love involved... chasing numbers vs trying to play to the car's strengths (need torque to move that much weight). I'd consider it the potential waste of a build core, not an engine I'd be inclined to reimburse the cost of. IDK what happened to the clutch/tranny, but I'd want to revisit those too. This car didn't get enough miles for that stuff to fail, it was beaten into submission.

No. I didn't "hack" it in there. That hurt, man. :(
I'm talking about the dozen subsequent owners who probably "hacked" a/o abused it since.
None of the owners, that I have kept track on, seemed to care about the car. Only that it was a cheap way to get into a Coronet R/T.

I followed Stan's build on this car.

Absolute engineering and fabrication expert work that no one on this planet has done before or since on a Formal!

IIRC....Stan or the next owner created and posted a video of the car. Acceleration was extremely fast and smooth. No noises, squeaks or rattles. If you closed your eyes it sounded like a very fast and healthy 440 4 speed GTX.

I hope everyone understands that this car passed through maybe a dozen owners since Stan painfully let it go. Several people have been inside the engine mucking stuff up. Maybe changed the cam and related components. Even the heads might not be what the engine had bolted on it when it left Florida the first time. There has been numerous people inside of this engine. Then the dumb *** hood scoops showed up. It had or has a Hurst emblem on the trunk lid that one of the owners said was a Chrysler factory 1 of 1 Hurst edition! There was no rust or deterioration on this car when Stan sold it. The only thing that I saw was a little fading of the red velour interior that happens on ALL red Formals!

I salute Stan for what he done with this Formal!

My apologies Stan... I didn't mean it to come across in that way. :(

I know you worked your *** off on that car... again, my apologies.

I would love to have this car but, not at that price. For <10k I can buy a decent formal and put my own 4 speed in it. Actually if I could find a fair 2 door (I'm not a super clean/super nice example of the car kind of guy) at a cheap price and swap a Tremec 5 spd in it.
$2500- formal 2 door in fair shape
$4000 complete 5 speed swap kit for a B body
$2000- headers, homemade dual exhaust, misc pieces and pedal assembly.
I'm still beating the 10 k and, I know every inch of the car.
Use the other $1500 for a scoop, wheels and tires. :poke:

You must be looking at some cheap wheels and tires.

thinkin the only reason this cars still kicking and haven't been scrapped was because of the 4 speed Stan put in it....this cars not done yet...
