I just went thru this with someone who returned with the part and wanted a refund. I had an A body bracket and he was buying it to put in a 71 Satellite. My A body bracket was too narrow for his B body buddy seat. Anyhow that’s how I found out there must be a difference between A and B body. As for B to C body. They may or may not be the same.
If the plan is to use the A body bracket and A body seat in a B body car it will work but there will be a significant gap on each side.

If I had to guess. B&C will be the same considering the console brackets are.
