Thank you for posting about PH23T0D119647. FY6 (typo corrected); interesting passenger-side door panel. BIN is $17k, starting bid is $13k. Let's see where this goes.

A few more pics for records:

Apparently the seller cannot wash or vacuum or wax the car. Is that a piece of wood holding up the passenger headrest???

FY6? At least according to the tag.

Interesting that the car even has headrests given it was built before Jan of 1970. Relatively nice car with a reasonable starting price IMO. I just don't like the color and lack of a/c.

Headrests started Jan. '69, not '70. Early '69s didn't have them, but did starting January 1969.

Weird that he brags about taking it on 300 mile road trips with a carb that needs rebuilt and without the kickdown linkage hooked up. Something smells fishy about it.

Perhaps besides the Chrysler 300 door panels someone put in Chrysler 300 buckets?

Also where are the wheel lip moldings?

The dash has the woodgrain and I was under the impression that the early 70 Furys did not have that. Maybe got changed when the door panels did?

Seats are correct for a fury GT, headrests appear to be aftermarket. The wood grain trim for most sport furys also appears correct. Car has had both the engine and transmission rebuilt in under 100k which would suggest a lack of care. As noted missing wheel lip moldings, also missing rocker trim. Primer on rear quarter, lower front fender radii and rockers where one would expect rust. Wheel lip moldings are often left off cars that have been bondoed around the rear wheel house and openings as with the rocker trim. Drum brakes with no air, missing front splash guards and emissions sticker. Headliner does not appear to have been professionally installed. No photos of trunk floor or rear window channel. Seller has an attitude as well, probably a flipper. Hard to say what this one is worth, need photos of the underside and trunk.

If he's driven it for several 300 mile trips without the transmission kickdown hooked up there will be some issues with that transmission.

What makes you think they are aftermarket? They look right to me, just like this one...

You might well be right, but I don't remember the chrome accent strip. I have one sport fury with buckets and the accent strip is the same color as the rest of the headrest. But, since I bought the car in the '90's, I do not know if it is correct. I will defer to your judgement.

Nobody knows what those primered rocker panels hide or what´s beneath the trunkmat but still it´s
reasonable priced for a GT without vinyl roof and black interior. There have been wrecks out there
offered for 5 figure numbers just because they were blue or another popular color.

The roadtrip story .. If you see all the smashed insects at the front grill / radiator it at least has been
driven faster than 20mph. No proof for the claimed distance though
