It looks like a well-optioned car and It doesn’t appear to have much rust on it..looks like the dash it’s got one or two cracks in it..not bad for an N.M car.

How many years has this one been for sale......................................:rolleyes:

I was just about to say that.

"Lost title". These people crack me up, they are so lazy they cannot fill out a form for a replacement and pay a small fee.

Show them what scrap price is today per ton and then tell them scrap yards can not by law buy a car without a title but you will pay them scrap price without the title and see if that motivates them. They say you can't fix stupid and I agree, Jer

those floors ! Oo
aaaYep, save those floor pictures for reference, the painted in crap/debris in the channels is exactly the way these cars rolled out of the factory paint shop and assembly line.

3rd or 4th time here for this car, and I guess they gave up on Craigslist as this is the first known sighting on FakeBook.

Not necessarily. If his uncle is dead, and it is in his name only, the only way to resolve a title like that is probate court. And, were a buyer out of state buy it and try to get it titled in their state without papers, have fun!!!

If it is in the sellers name, then you are correct.

DL23K1D199908 (Edit: fixed the VIN) has been for sale for many months. She was discussed here. The price is down $200 from last February.

The seller is eventually gonna get sick of listing it, and it will end up scrapped without a word.

It's a neighborhood issue. It's worth the money.
To get it to me, would more than double the cost, it's not worth that kind of money. Those cars are pretty rare in my region. I don't believe that I have ever seen a two door ever. Probably not worth as much in parts out here do to that, but its money well spent for somebody building a car.

I've already gotten shipping quotes. If both quarters were absolutely perfect. It would be here already. Its just not worth it when you factor in the shipping.

Last time I talked with the seller he said he had locals coming and would get back to me.

Pretty hard to beat. I checked the cost of flying down, thinking about cheap flights. Not that I have the time anyway, but just the rental of a uhaul with trailer is over $1500. Add $500 for fuel the $100 plane ride and a 3 day investment.
Someday if I have it in me when I retire, I'm going to go find dilapidated old **** and get them running and drive them home. Sell and repeat.
