This was a really nice 1968 Newport that I sold a number of years ago. It was a really clean car, with original paint and a nearly perfect interior. Paint was really faded though, and it looks better in the photos than it did in real life. Nevertheless, it was a very nice car. I am partial to 1968 Chryslers, and to four doors in particular. When I was 18 I had a '68 Newport and I put 50,000 miles on it in short order. So I was kind of reliving old times when I bought it, although this car was a much better car to start with.

I'm not sorry it's gone (because I now have Imperials) but it was a VERY nice car.

I am partial to the RR1 maroon metallic.
Had a 68 NYer that color.
But prefer the one year only roofline of the Newport series...

Nice ride. I’m partial to 4 door hardtops & RR1 maroon metallic. My dad’s “68 Fury III sedan was that color. I grew up with that car. It’s the reason I’m the way I am now. Haha.
