That car looks solid. Great color combination, A/C, super light and the correct turn downs on the ends of the tail pipes. I love the 500 trim running along the lower flanks. It will be interesting to see the final bid. That car is only an hour away from me.

stupid question again, what is "super light" ? Looks like a well optioned Dodge at any rate...…

Looks like a well optioned Dodge

Indeed. No power toys, but a lot of everything else. Here is the tag DM23G9F100612 -- the car was listed for sale at Carlisle this past July, if memory serves for $13.5k.

That appears to be a beautiful car indeed.

I wonder why the paint under the hood appears to be more of a curious yellow shade - maybe the lighting?

While the turn downs are correct, the pipe ends are not quite like Chrysler finished them off.

The asking price appears reasonable judging from the photos and having a 383-4 engine is surely a big plus.................and having only 26K very believeable miles surely makes it a very good price. I really like the colors too.........

what is "super light" ?
It is a "fog light" option in the grille.

Not quite. The manufacturer's explanation of what the Superlite does is at 1:35 in this commercial / promotional video of the 1970 Dodge Polara:

As per the video's script, it is a bright light to illuminate the road so the driver can see "well beyond the range of the low beams but without blinding oncoming drivers" and is "very good for situations when you can't use your bright lights."
