Gauging interest on Rare c body convertible barn find Complete 1 of 573 polara 500 convertibles manufactured in 1969. Frame rails are solid. Complete car highly optioned. Will needs floor boards . Buckets seat car ,Rear Seats are in the trunk. Rare cool fuselage. Apologize for poor pictures, there were other cars I was discovering.

@MrMoparCHP must feel pretty good about his purchase, seeing the shape DM27G9D291517 is in and the seller's asking price...

Late build, which explains the A47 (special dress up package?) and A85 (front end ornamentation) options

I believe ( looking at the seats )we have seen it before somewere out doors....
That time it was full of parts/stuff.

On the bright side, it still has the hard to find "500" side trim. With lots of rust, it is grossly overpriced, On a good day this might be a $2.5k car if the under side is solid.

Dave

IMHO seller is just trying on an out there price on the basis there's one born every minute. A massive project at best but more likely a parts car. Hopefully the seller will come to his senses.

That was my first thought when I saw this car.

"other cars I was discovering"? Sounds like he may not even own this one and is the middleman to a sale ie. a flipper, you know the one's that are responsible for all the CL disclaimers "I don't need any help selling my car".
