It´s time for the Slab picture thread

Whats the big ugly thing next to the master cylinder?

Cruise control unit.

Take this car for example too with the cruise unit, I believe it is a letter car that belongs to a friend of @68_fury_ragtop.......

These 2 are fairly decent.
The fury has rusty quarters and trunk extensions but not serious. Poly, buckets armrest and column shift.
Polara is better. La 318 column shift.
I suspect that both have a little mouse going on.
I wish I could save them all

WOW.... A sport fury convertible. And it looks like it has a lot of potential. Kind of odd to see a convertible in that region. Any idea about what they want for it?

I dont know exactly what the price is. But I have a hunch 3500 to 4 grand our money.
I advertised these heifer calves. In my ad I said i would consider 60s and early 70s mopar on trade.
The owner of these 2 slabs contacted me. He said he valued the SF, polara and a 65 barracuda at 12,500
And I herd from another mopar guy that the 65 barracuda is 5500. So that leaves 7 grand for the 2 slabs. So break it down however you want.
I decided I would keep the heifer calves. I was thinking about inquiring as to what he needs for SF if I pay cash

I purchased the 67 newport Hardtop in 1996, after being in storage since 1980.
The car was special ordered with 440 TNT engine, manual steering,Disc brakes, no A/C
it runs very well, and is just waiting to be brought back to life!

Since ‘96 is a long time to wait.:poke:
hey matt I know,
the old girl is patient, as before I got it the car had sat behind a auto repair shop from 1980.
The original owner asked to have the front end rebuilt, and shortly thereafter was committed to the State sanitarium, he died there. The car sat all that time, until the shop was about to be torn down. The new owner called a junk yard to salvage it, but a salvage guys son showed up and saw the chrome valve covers, so they bought it instead. he had it 16 years until I bought it. I got it running, Installed a new front windshield, and parked it with the rest.I I'm selling some other cars to cut back, which will allow me to finally get this one moving again.
It is Loud! Dual glass packs Installed way back in the day, but with 104 octane that 440 just roars!
