That settles it; if I decided to sell my car the price will be 12 grand. If I redo the interior first the price will go up.

Console, power windows and cruise control are nice touches on this one.

The other thread definitely needs a close-up of the fender tag!

No AC in MA for a vert doesn't surprise me. I want to know what's under the fresh paint of the trunk pan and how was the body work done. I like the car but I think it would need a close inspection and a cleaning at that price. JMO.

What makes that 'weird'?
Clocks are usually one of the last options added. How many cars do you see with a clock and no AC? Also an AM radio with a clock? That's weird.

It's similar to this car that I saw: slant 6, no AC, PB, or PS, three on the tree... yet a clock. Weird!!

Dad always ordered a clock, tach, economy gauge etc because the blanked off gauge opng. just bugged him.

If you personally took that photo why did you not take the pedals?!?!?

Ha! The entire car was for sale, not for parts. I was viewing the car for a member here who lives in Oz or NZ. If the car had been in better shape I would have been interested in it myself. It was
just 30 minutes away, but it was rough.

A VOLPATO was the Chrysler Plymouth Imperial Dealer on Park Avenue, Chico?

If so, as a Chico State Sophomore Fall of ‘79 I took my first car [‘70 Challenger F8 ‘Vert] to get an estimate on fixing both rear quarters. $3K?! for a cool ride I’d paid $1,200 for in my hometown of San Francisco Amazing memories in 1980s Butte County!

I have no idea; I've only lived here ten years.

Repair costs have always been an interesting prospect. Lasher VW on Florin Road in South Sac wanted $650 to repairs some damage on my '61 VW in 1975. I only paid $425 for the car a year earlier! When I wanted to replace the window seal in my '70 Challenger, which was leaking badly, the glass company would not do it unless I signed a waiver stating I would not hold them responsible for the glass if it broke. They did not want to be responsible for the cost of the shield, which was more than I paid for the car as well!

I transferred to Sac State as a Junior that same year!
I actually transferred up to Chico from Long Beach State as a Freshman, mainly because a ton of my Riordan High School buddies were there and of course, Pioneer Days . . . Old Guys Rule!

Shows sale pending now......Yeah it's me! Will be my first C-body since the 69 Fury 4dr sedan that I had in high school back in the mid 80's! Can't wait to get it home in a few weeks!
