in our case the 440 motor had different mounting points, and did not fit on a frame that previously held a 383. maybe you have different experience in interchanging motors and frames?

I wondered if the 440 you have has the different motor mount location on the drivers side. But I believe the subframe is the same, just the motor mount is different. You should be able to get a standard motor mount and still bolt it to your block...minus one mounting ear I think, and use the 383 subframe.

Thanks for the tip. The problem we had was that on the existing frame, the motor was building too high, and the place under the bulkhead did not permit to slide the fame/motor assy under. That said, teh frame we had turned out to be damaged, so , still looking for a frame....
Hey thrashing I saw your weatherstripping post on the diesel truck forum and wondered if you ever got your crew cab dodge doors to close correctly with the new weatherstripping that fits over the seam. I just installed a set from rock auto and am having the same dilemma. Thanks in advance for any insight
