How are the rear interior panels on the 65 Fury wagon?

Yes, that’s correct. It’s 90% the same setup as the 68-70 B-Body cars. The guts are the same at least. See the nightmare job here: Driven Restorations: November 2015

Or replace the whole thing while you’re in there. The whole job is a complete hassle.

I’m willing to make molds of the rear panels for duplication but the few that still exist are too brittle to uninstall without cracking. I’m considering custom fiberglass work.

For my ‘65 Fury wagon (above photos) was begging for a new heater core so I went with Classic Auto Air.

Rough but I WANT IT

I have 5 new hankooks sitting in the garage for my ‘65 Fury III wagon and the original 14” wheels at the sandblaster/powder coater. Don’t be afraid of them.

Worked great just minutes before the cutoff time of 11pm EST. Saved me $100 on my heater core and A/C heater box rebuild kit- thanks!

FYI, mine are absolutely rotted to dust. Also, the foam seal on my wagon went all the way up to each corner rather than the 6” you referenced... odd

Got mine out today in preparation... no severe rot thankfully, just scale in the rear corner and surprisingly up top above the glass. Such a simple gasket it boggles my mind as to how the major suppliers blew me off:

No worries- when you can I’d appreciate it. I can’t install my new dash panels until I drill the appropriate hole(s) for the dash switch.
