The tires that WERE on it were old. Had one of those of the car in the sun, it got hot and the tread just went POP, AND CAME RIGHT OFF THE TIRE IN THE DRIVEWAY!

they're not old. about 5 yrs, but were stored in my friends basement. no cracks, ride smooth.

running a little to warm, had radiator and cooling system flushed... much better now.

Took Black Betty out for the first drive this evening. SSMMOOOOOTH. This thing runs and drives great. Now for some exterior cleaning and polishing.

Got all the wiper bushings replaced yesterday. Pain. Small victories. Getting there.

Ball joints done. New Idler arm came today, should be on the road this weekend!

the number of 1976 2 dr. Dodge royal Monaco broughams were 4066. These numbers came from the Chrysler archives. They did not have a breakdown of 440 diplomats.

Talked to Diane at Galens, and she said only 4000 2 dr royal Monaco broughams were made. I"m guessing 440 diplomats are very rare.
