Hi all. It seems that the speedo on my '68 Fury is knackered and in the process of trying to fix it I managed to break one of the studs off the back of the temp gauge... Does anyone have a complete cluster? Or just the speedo? It's a Fury 3 with column shift auto but i'm pretty sure they're all...
That's what I was hoping to hear. Thanks guys.
On a not entirely unrelated note, my '66 Town & country also will need a front screen seal at some point. Are these the same as the 4dr sedan? Any recommendations on where to find?
Mines the hardtop. It's odd, rock auto, vans and most of the ones on eBay all say '65-67 but Steele and national moparts list them as '65-68. Oh well, I guess i'll see when they arrive. Can't see why they'd be different.
Agree with all the above. I can also add from my decode book:
F3: Fury III custom special package*
P6: either heater delete or rear seat speaker
Not too sure how to read all the number related codes-30,66,78 but they are mostly related to mouldings
M5X: Interior trim grade-medium, Split vinyl...
Hi all, i've been trying to find some weatherstrip pieces for my '68 Fury 2dr HT, specifically I need the roof rail seals and the rear quarter glass seals. However a search of the usual suspects mostly shows these parts listed as fitting '65-'67 only. Does anyone know what the difference is on...
I'm expecting a bit of work. And I have a bit of wiggle room on the price. There was a '69 Newport coupe on Hemmings for $4200 last month that looked solid, and a '71 300 that looked less solid for $6900. But i'm really liking the Furys. I think i'm drawn to the full loop bumper.
You think? I've seen a few things for sale on Craigslist and Facebook and such. Not after a perfect car, i'm after a good project. Heck, I just missed out on a '70 Sport Fury on this very forum that would've been ideal if I hadn't thought about it for a day.
I'm looking to add a dream car to my Mopar stable. I've always wanted a Fusie 2dr HT. Ideally a '69-'71 Chrysler or '70-'71 Fury. Not too fussed about options or colors but would need it to be complete and as close to rust free as possible. Also because I need to ship it, closer to the west...
And I know how much we all love photos so here's a few more.
Dwarfing my Rovers.
Looking sharp. Anybody out there got that missing piece of lower rear door trim? I thing it's the same as a 4 dr sedan.
And Christmas under the Pohutakawa tree.
That meant I could start driving the car and enjoying. First task was to swap the wheels for a set of Magnum 500s I had managed to find.
The whole time i'd had the car parked in various garages I had never gotten anything out of the original radio but static. But I was driving home from work...
Thanks guys. Yes, parts can be a challenge down here. Small things are easy enough to ship but it's not like I can pop down to the local wrecker and get another bumper...
So all that work meant the car was ready for compliance. Basically to register a car on NZ roads for the first time it has to...
Subtle! I like it!
Anyhoo, after almost 2 years of fruitless searching on Ebay for the missing Town & country badges off the rear guards, I found a pair in the space of a couple of weeks! Lucky.
