I'm in the market to buy a new ride. I generally never buy new because of the heavy depreciation. I ran across a vehicle that sparked my interest.. Good price and extremely low miles. The thing I am not sure of is what is a manufacturer vehicle? I don't want to get ahold of something that was...
The lease on my current vehicle is up in a couple months, so today I decided to hit all 4 of the Chrysler dealerships here to look at a 300 as a possible replacement. Two dealers had none. One dealer had 1, and the other had 2. They all had a multitude of Chargers/Challengers. Not much on the...
That is an awesome looking car. Nothing like that ever comes up around here... I grew up in VERY rural OK. Lots of Mopar owned by my parents friends/family members, but when you had to drive 20 miles to get a loaf of bread, people drove them to death.
Well I talked to Murray today and ordered my wiper parts. Nice guy. He told me he got 3-5 calls a week for NY's and Newports, and said he knew what I needed when I told him I had a 78 NY. We talked about his repop too. I asked him why he didn't make one for the 78 and he said he still might...
Guys anyone have part numbers for the 74-77 wiper parts I need? There are Zero of these in the local salvage yards. I see wiper cranks on Ebay but they are all Flat and Bob's part appears to be a curved design.
Thanks,
Phillip
Well. I guess you're right. I went back thru and read some more and I guess you DO need the 77 arm for either application. Mine is the same color combo as yours only a sedan. I haven't seen any driving around here in years, and the dedicated Mopar salvage here crunched them a long time ago...
What I got from reading these threads is that you would only need the 77 arm IF you are going to use the repop piece. Bob told me to order a wiper bushing set for a 96 Full Size Dodge van and that was all that was needed. I guess I need to verify if a 77 arm is needed for both applications. I...
Thank you. I will have to try and find donor parts. There is absolutely none of these avail locally. I guess the salavage yards crushed them long ago. Might have better luck with the 96 bushings from the dealer here, who about laughed me out of the parts dept when I asked about anything 1978
