For Sale Mecum C Body round up.

Wow! That brings back memories! I had one that was identical including the interior. I moved to AZ (1997) in that car driving from Indianapolis. It was so comfy and I was impressed that it averaged 18.1 mpg.

    Aftermarket disc brake kit

Another option, Scarebird. They have two options, light duty/budget (https://scarebird.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=64&product_id=255) and heavy duty (1957-61 Plymouth, Dodge front). I strongly suggest the heavy duty version. You'll have to source the parts yourself but you can get...

What wheel and tire size for 65 SF?

    That wagon is pure awesomeness!

What wheel and tire size for 65 SF?

I don't know if I count as young at 49 but I've been hot rodding C-body cars since the 80's and don't plan on stopping. I've built and raced a '67 Monaco 500, '69 Fury III, '69 Polara 500, and my current '65 Sport Fury. I've had my share of A, B, and even one E-body cars over the years but I...

What wheel and tire size for 65 SF?

Without skirts I ran 275/60-15's on 15x8 American Racing Outlaw II's w/3.75" backspace on my '65 Sport Fury. Slight rubbing on very hard turns but otherwise was good to go. Of course, this was just on my car and they can vary a bit.

Restoration of aluminum lower sill moulding’68 Polara

I hope I have the guts to try this and succeed one day. However, thinking of trying to straighten the rear trunk panel on my '65 Sport Fury scares the hell out of me!

    For Sale 1966 Fury VIP

Hows the drivers side rear corner sheet metal? Would you be willing to cut it off and ship it? It should fit in a box. I know '66 is different than my '65 but I have had no luck finding this section and I could make a '66 piece work.

WANTED 65 Fury driver side rear quarter section

Looking for the drivers side rear quarter piece. Would like at least from just in front of the gas filler door, from the bottom to top of car, all the way in to the inside trunk flange, and rust free. If you know of a junk yard that has it and ships I would love to know!

1965 fury III front drum brake help

I would think the drums are not out of round but you never know. You can always pull them off and have them checked to be sure and rule it out. Anyways, I would lean more towards some of the front steering components needing replacing. It is easy enough to check the shocks to see if they are...

How big a wheel/tire can you get on the back?

I do agree that modernizing things is for some and not for others. I plan on going with 17's on my Duster but my C will stay with 15's. My C and A both will end up with OD transmissions and EFI (maybe a late model 5.7 Hemi swap on the A) so ya can't say that I'm against using new tech on old...

How big a wheel/tire can you get on the back?

I'll second that! IMO, anything over a 15" just looks wrong. I'm sure that Galaxie looks great with 15's. As for it being 2012, if that is your basis, then buy a 2012 car! These are classics and not modern throwaway POS cars!

How big a wheel/tire can you get on the back?

Same here. 4.5" backspacing on mine causes the tire to rub the lip on turns and such. 5 or 5.5" backspacing is perfect

what muffler sounds best on 440

I like the sound of the Flowtech Terminator mufflers. I like a performance sounding exhaust and these do it without being loud when idling or just cruising. However, you definitely can hear them when you mash the throttle! Also, they don't resonate nearly as bad as the Flowmasters do. I...
