Will someone please catch me up to speed? [re: Washer Bottle 3431154]

They will sell no question or concerns about thst

Could you give us an update on the 71-73 battery cable project. Last I understood, your last hurdle was getting the fusible link connector correct and you bought a 3D printing machine to make it. Last time I called you folks, someone's wife at QQE was going to work on the program from home to make it but that has been some time ago now.

Thanks.

I have considered that but really don’t like holding onto customers $$.
Do you wait to charge customers until the product ships or hit the credit card when the product is ordered?
If you do hit the credit card when the customer orders the product, you are already holding onto your customer’s $, so what’s the difference? Most vendors charge the customer right away. Few don’t.

I'm in line on cables too. I am in process of building one right now for my son's project. But would rather have just ordered one up, and will when they are available. Again, I would be happy to send a deposit to keep the project moving.

I'm in on this too. Though I'm down to one car, I'd probably buy two.

I would buy 3 sets of those battery cables at the outset as well and probably more a little later down the road as I make progress on my restorations.

We charge the day an order ships. Less issues that way. Policy for 40 years
Good on you! You are the exception!
Pre-orders do exist.
Your decision, but a lot of people here are anxious about the things that your company are planning to produce and want you to be successful.

I would gladly pre-order one, if that can help you speed up things.
Even if you keep my money for 1 year, I don't care.
Thanks for your work on this.

I was able to talk with Todd at QQE this afternoon and he is optimistic that the battery cables will be available in the June/July timeframe and they will be able to return the original cable within a couple weeks that I submitted from one of my 71 300s that was in pretty nice shape including the fusible link and even the small glossy label attached to it from the factory to make the new cable reproductions. So they are at work on making the 3D fusible link plastic circular connectors.

The mold for the washer bottle is also underway and they are expecting the first samples around July or at the most August timeframe.

Due to the Covid situation, they had to put some projects aside for awhile due to supply situations, but these two projects are back in progress.

Hopefully the cables, and washer bottles all workout. I'll definitely be buying them. Maybe after someone can repop the 70 Fury 3 taillights.

I would like to order a cable and a water bottle also. I definitely need them both. I will pay for them whenever you like!!!

I am definitely interested in some battery cable(s). I already paid too much for an original washer bottle quite a few years ago..

Keycor, welcome to The Lost Dutchman's Mine. Trusting that my response will be met with corrections from others that know more than I; -along with being used as an FCBO Member handle, the letters "QQE" are possibly the acronym for the company that is thinking about reproducing the long sought after 3431154 Reservoir. Todd is possibly a person either with QQE or one who has a close connection to QQE, and is in The Know. The possible company is possibly located in Pa.. I have sent a private message to QQE (the FCBO Member) in hopes of learning more of the particulars, however, his "Inbox" was full. I still know nothing. If there exists an official "Sign Up List" for this Reservoir, I still know nothing of that either. I am keeping all of this stuff in my "Rumor has it..." file. Hopefully my response to your inquiry will spur some real insight into this matter from someone who really knows what's going on. That would be very helpful.
