A Mopar buddy and I went in and bought this Fury III for parts. It’s pretty crusty and was parked for many years but it’s very original and complete, 318, 904, 8 1/4 rear.
I was told it was originally ordered by the Alberta government for use by their forestry department and it does appear to be part of a fleet order going by the FT. We found two build sheets including a good one folded in half under the carpets so thought I’d post those for posterity.

It seems a bit odd that they would order four door hard tops for fleet use but maybe they wanted to arrive in style when they showed up at the forest. They spec’d some extra lighting but not the full light group, -35 anti-freeze, and some U99 special tires as noted on the BS. Those could have been snow tires or something heavy duty for gravel roads.

Thank you for posting about PM43G0D225789 -- interesting that a forestry Dpt would order a hardtop instead of a sedan, and a Fury III instead of a lower-priced model.

@69CoronetRT should like the tag and build sheet info.

Ya know. . . Nick (@69FuryIIIConvertible) can fix this car. . .

I’m guessing you took these pics while waiting for Uhaul to come change your flat?? Lol

I never did get hold of U-haul and ended up borrowing a wheel from my friend to get me going again.
This type of trailer takes a standard 4.5” bolt circle Mopar wheel so I’ll probably just carry a spare from now on.

Those look like the special order high ground clearance option to me.

I'll have to agree its very odd to see a fleet hardtop car. However always thinking Police agencies used Fury Is I began noticing many used Fury IIs and IIIs. I guess its how the agency specked out the car.

G'Day,
Always Feel a Little Surprised When I Read the American "Specs"
All Our Plymouth / Phoenix's 318s Came with 727 / 8.75s.
(Sedans had 318 W/ 2" Rear Drums, H/Tops Had 383 W/ 2.5" Rear Drums)
Not Sure Why, But They Were Sold as Top of the Line Sort of Thing.
Regards Tony.M
