Help with 727 Kickdown Lever

From your pictures you will need the mounting bracket, and the connecting arm. Your Welcome.
Unless that extension stand with the cable clamp is a bolt on.

According to the car codes, it was a 2bbl from factory.
The mount for a 2bbl, is different than the one for a 4bbl. The 4bbl carb sit more toward the front of the engine. You would be better off getting a complete 4bbl system from Detmatt.

Even though I have a 4bbl on it right now and it runs fine?

I agree my friend, but I have no idea what to buy and have been asking for some help. So while I figure that out, I might as well buy some cheap stuff and just try to learn it.
I used the summit throttle and kickdown cable kit, which looks a lot like the Amazon one that was linked. It worked fine, but took a lot of adjusting

Done and Done!

Got the new Intake installed, had to fix the kickdown lever and the mounting bracket needed to be widen a bit.... But man does this thing have some power now! Also now that I understand how the kickdown and throttle works, I order the Lokar one with the bracket. I will install that later.

my nephew got rid of his linkage setup on his dart & replaced it with a cable setup & he said it was way easy to install & adjust I'll try & find out what he used

Lokar : Throttle Cables & Kickdowns
this is what my nephew used he couldn't remember for sure where he got his kit from but thought it was summit or jegs. He said he it was easy to install & adjust. I personally know it does work good as ive driven it since he has installed it. He also said he tried other kick down cable kits & didn't like them
