I'm sure people will pick that apart because their cars are so much better. That is a nice looking 69 Sport.

I've seen this car and it's sharp.I have bought c body parts from the owner and he is a nice guy.

Looks like an original black car. Pretty rare back then. Plus a console, bucket and factory stereo tape! I like the wheels on it too. Surprised I’ve never seen this car at shows around here.

Your right you dont see many black cars here. Kind of why I like them. I just got buckets and the headrests and will have a similar look in the near future. Is it a dumb question to ask if the sport fury grill is the preferred over the plain? Is the answer always yes?

I went to this guy's garage sale and bought a few things about a year ago. Car was in the garage at the time. Couldn't see it very well. He seemed like a nice guy. Never seen the car at any local events. That is all I can report.

Ya know? I like both grilles on the 69s. The S.F. grille is shared with V.I.P.s.

Yes, sometimes I look at a SF grill and am totally underwhelmed. I like the depth but the gray/argent and bits of chrome don't have enough contrast. Plus the plane headlight surrounds are kind of boring and look unfinished. But then I see this car (black ) and I like it better. I have an old grill from a VIP and its got me thinking....which usually ends up with a garage/radio/beer combo and an injury.

No less than John Herlitz told me that the Plymouth studio wasn't satisfied with the front of the '69, but had to wait until '70 for more tooling budget.

Yep. Including dough for hide-aways.
Yet I prefer the 69 Fury III grille to the 70.

the inset of the headlight doors should be black. that helps the overall look. if you are looking for weight savings , don't use the SF grille. it is HEAVY.
