Sorry for this re-post. This site is weird...in certain areas of the forum there aren't file size limits. But here, there is, so I lost my pics. Anyway here goes nothing (again).

The car is a one-owner car, with original paint, vinyl, interior and running gear. What's cool is the original dealer sticker is still there. The car was sold in 1967 in the same town that I bought it in a month ago (May 2021). It has 37,816 miles on the clock.

I love this car. When that 200 pound door shuts, there is no "woke" politics, no hybrid bullshit, and we are on our way to the Moon. The car reminds me of my father, Hot Wheels, the smell of Sea and Ski on the way to the beach, and when horsepower was more important than mileage.

Thank you, sir. I do have some work to do. The car bottoms out on the smallest dip in the road. Should I assume it needs stiffer shocks, or springs?.. I am new to the old car world.
 
Down load the FSM for free at www.mymopar.com, you will find the manuals in the tools/reference section. The manual gives detailed instructions on checking and adjusting the ride height. With only 47k on the speedo, it is unlikely that the springs are shot. These cars were long and heavy and that needs to be calculated into your driving habits. These cars usually do better with the older style shocks rather than the more modern gas shocks. If you need to replace the shocks, try to find a quality Monroe or Koni or Mopar shock in the vintage configuration.

Why does Wisconsin have such ugly vintage tags??? Whomever designed those, doesn't have an old car!

Wow, thank you for that resource. The car does have air shocks. Probably cheapo-mart. Going to check that section on adjusting ride height immediately. i m worried about damaging the body.

Those are modern. You should see the old ones. Canary effin ' yellow. The car is now in California, where I'm going to do a Y.O.M. registration soon. (you can register your car with era plates if they are not registered to another car.)

Ditch the air shocks and go to Rock Auto and order a set (front and rear) of KYB Gas Shocks. I have them on my '66 300 coupe, and the ride is very smooth and controlled. And welcome to FCBO!

Hey Dave...Thanks for the input. I definitely notice/feel it more on the right rear side. It seems as though upward travel is way too soft. But I'm only speculating. I know more motorcycle speak than car talk ( rebound, dampening, compression, etc) . When it hits, which is often, it's not good. Going to look at the FSM now. Wondering if a big rubber bumper rotted away.
