I'm so glad I upgrade to disc brakes so I don't have to deal with shitheads like this over drums!

I like the idea of discs but I worry I couldn’t run my 14x7 Cragar SS wheels!
I know that's an issue for many a disk brake set-up. However, it hit me last week that I converted the Gremlin to disks and am running 14s on it with no problems.

My 65 Fury cop car has 11 x 3 all the way around. This is what I used for the fronts. They got a bit more expensive, but appear to be still readily available. They will work.

Pick your poison. Be glad that hey can even be bought. Ever seen a Chinese drum fail? May not be round when you get it, but it will work just fine.

Mine were made in the USA. Bought them a long time ago. I got NOS on the rear. Those cost me $275 plus shipping in 2001. I did find a third one in 2006. Have that as a spare. I was never successful in finding 11 x 3 front NOS ones. I tried - did find 11 x 2 3/4 but not 11 x 3.

65 cop car,
First of all, I have N.O.S. 11" x 3" Brake Drums -- which will be at Chryslers @ Carlisle in 3 1/2 weeks --- if you want FREE Shipping on those monsters.... Come by spaces H 107 - H 108... and Haul a pair away for FREE shipping....

Secondly, on Isaiah`s vehicle , to whom I was responding to in this thread, there is --- NO --- question that his car has ONLY 11" x 3" --- as opposed to the 11" x 2 3/4" that came on Dodge and Plymouth "C" body --- but NOT --- Chrysler Newport, New Yorker, and 300.....

Thirdly, Police Cars, Ambulances, and the Heavy Duty Tow packages came equipped with 11" x 3" Rear Brake Drums --- that I have known for 50 years --- but that has no relevance in this thread, as Isaiah is interested in Front Brake Drums ONLY -- and his car, of course, has 11" x 2 1/2" Rear Brake Drums....

But, thank you for your input.....Next time, read the question and answer before you disagree with something that IS NOT the question....

And, Fourth, in answer to your question about Chineseum drums failing, the answer is, YES, repeatedly.... See other threads where people on this site have discussed the warpage issues.....

That should answer everything you asked about, DEFINITIVELY...

Yup - this pretty much makes me understand who you are. You are not an asset to this hobby and I would never buy from you. I tried and you were not nice........

I AM the greatest asset to this hobby.... Ask the thousands at the upcoming Chryslers @ Carlisle who will be grabbing gold from me ---
And , the thousands of friends who will just stop by to converse, enjoy life together, and thank me again for keeping their rides on the road....

You don't have to even investigate buying anything from me ever --- that will allow the educated to always be able to acquire my quality parts...They appreciate it......

I happened to be nice and honest with you there, 65copcar, if you can't figure that out..... Oh well.....
