Thanks Matt, I never want to assume on C body stuff, especially Dodges since I am still a novice on what’s right and wrong but was 99% sure it wasn’t. I absolutely couldn’t see them painting seat brackets white lol.

I totally didn’t even notice the background. That’s pretty common for me when I’m looking at car.models I don’t know well actually, especially if they have odd colors or options etc.

The hood trim isn’t original either is it? Reminds me of mid 60s Chevy.

Thank you @T-revorNobody for posting about DM27G9D198053 -- another surviving Polara 500 'vert has been identified!

Great color for a boat and I do mean watercraft.

Notice the round rivets on the S/N tag. Think it belongs to this car?
Second one we have seen in the past couple of weeks.

Being from where it is, who knows. Good point though. Since the pad was recovered it was likely removed for that. Sometimes things are innocent enough.

The top bow trim looks original, or done correctly, that’s about it.

Why do people think it’s ok to make a beach ball out of a convertible interior??

:soapbox:

Look where it is.
Recall the stereotype of car in the 70s of Puerto Rican or Spanish decent? This would be that and would likely not be outrageous if you saw it on the street in its current location, Havana or LA.

I may be the exception here, but I kinda approve of the color scheme. The carpet should be changed to black, but otherwise the whole package works. As @detmatt hinted — it may be marine like, but I like.

This car should stay in Mexicali. . .

I like yellow. But...not so much this yellow.

There are scads of talented upholstery shops in Mexicali and TJ. My brother-in-law took his black '55 BelAir hardtop to TJ back in around '71 to get the whole interior done. It came back with the coolest tuck-n-roll black Naugahyde interior I've ever seen - then or since! They did the seats, door cards and the trunk floor in just under two days. Two. Days! Here in 'Merica, a shop might have your stuff two weeks, two months...who knows?

Very nice job on that interior, despite the retina-burning shade. For the money, it's probably not a bad buy. The VIN tag rivets would have me the most concerned, though it was removed to accommodate the reupholstery job on the dash pad itself.
