US Army sticker ?

Id suppose thats what he's referring to, its what stuck out to me, although it isn't a familiar badge to anything I've seen on milsurp vehicles.

Suppose it could've always been a private ride for some dapper officer, but I'm not seeing any real connection to the military, and I don't know of the DoD having ever bought Polaras.

Yes they did. Back when I was in the factory school, they took us out to Belvidere Assembly, and I saw a number of them come down the line.

Had a 73 fury that looked this one and it was a dept of forestry car.
Would be nice to see fender tag.
Got this door from a swepty dodge army truck.

The govt dodge trucks were hot.

Had a Power Wagon near me at one point, unfortunately neglected and in a condition of advanced decay.

A 3/4 tonne Dodge WC-51 is the dream though

I see plenty of ex-squad cars from this past decade that were Navy owned, seems there is a Navy training facility in Orlando, then of course Jacksonville, Virginia has plenty too. Most look to be unmarked with no light bars but are all in that gawd awful Navy blue.
