There's massive rust behind the left rear wheel,. Very hard to see, but if you look close, that panel is half way gone. Plus the rust underneath the vinyl. That gives you an idea how much rust you'll find in the trunk, floorpans etc.

Given what you are saying about rust, it seems disingenuous and not the best way to sell such a car since that is not mentioned in the listing. I hope the new owner is aware of that rust since I see the Facebook listing shows "sold" now.

I would consider this as a project car and a rare opportunity to own a B5 True blue 2door Imperial.
But since most people who are interested in these specimen know how hard it is to find certain parts, there will be very few people willing to take on this project.
I hope it gets rescued by someone on this board though

I would think @Moseman might have considered this one since he loves 2 doors. Maybe he's had eyes on it already.
I am not sure about this one. I will pass, although the bucket seats are intriguing. I am running out of space, (54 by 64 shop full, 3 containers full, and I have 4 in a 30 by 60 heated rental shop) and have to focus on building our house later this year.

FB Description

Please folks I do not have a price in mind, I am looking at all offers. I have a $2,000 offer on motor alone. But I’m Not gonna split this beauty up! Just picked up this 72 imperial has a 440 under the hood. Will start and drive. The car is super solid. I got it to save from being a derby car. With very little effort could be a daily driver. My plans are to clean it up and shove big wheels under it and have fun. But I have another project that is my priority so if this stays or goes doesn’t matter to me. I just have received alit if messages about selling so I figured I would post on here before I start building it. Clean TN title Open to trade offers. C10, f100, rat rod, hot rod.

Talked to this seller this evening. Claimed to have received around 300 inquiries, and an offer of $6000.00. Says the car runs and drives okay. Hard pull to the right when braking. When asked about the AutoTempII, he said he didn't know how to operate it.
6K+ top + seat + ATII = TOO MUCH

So it seems to have just over 100K miles on it.

I wonder whether the owner was trying to send a message since the license plate seems to be a specialty one...............72 Junk!!!

This is my beloved 1972 Chrysler Imperial Lebaron with 440, V8 which I acquired in 2010 from a person who mentioned it belonged to his Aunts Estate. Good; runs fine(sometimes misses have new spark plug wires which I haven’t had time to install) did tune up, oil change, transmission kit, belts etc last year. Has all trims and emblems and 4 hubcaps Shows 3799 miles but could be 103000.I have probably driven 1000 miles in last 11 years. Even touched 100 miles an hour on the freeway and blew a tire and lost a hubcap which I finally was able to replace. 8 track player and radio work Lights and turn signal work Interior is good just a tear on the driver side. All gauges work. Bad; needs paint and some body work, ac doesn’t work(never did). Looks great and gets a lot of attention. Even get occasional salutes and bow down. This is bigger than a Cadillac Deville( I have measured parked next to it)and my Lexus LS460L This car has a presence of a King’s car. I have no room left. 8000 OBO.
