Thanks for that! That's easier to say knowing we won't be there :lol:.

I will likely be having convulsions Wednesday evening. I was close to coming Saturday.
 
If you guys want to catch a snippet of the documentary, here is a clip. It's from Dad talking about how they did the 72 Pro Stock Demon. I'll be dropping the entire thing on YouTube Thursday and playing all weekend at Carlisle!

Bill, I gotta tell ya, I've been doing this event since the beginning. I missed 1 early year I think but don't recall which. It was you around 22 years ago that convinced me to park my not so pretty 71 on the showfield.
I've literally met thousands of people there over those years. Many have only been seen once or a few times. Others like yourself, decades.
It is remarkable how many people have reached out with disappointment that we will not be attending. I walked away from much more than I realize.

Although I only knew you for the past 2 years, I'll miss seeing you Diane and your beautiful Polara Dave. As Bill said you will be missed, hope to see you next year!

I willl be there today, Buddy came in from CA yesterday morning unloaded his stuff, dropped off parts he brought, packed up both trucks and man be prepared for Heat and Humidity at the show.
 
40 miles after leaving the shop for Carlisle yesterday the alternator took a crap.
Towed it back, replaced with one I had on the shelf, and back on the road we went.
Made it to Mansfield last night about midnight, Ohio time.
Will be hitting the road again soon.

That sucks Tim but at least it didn't happen to far away from home though, you got the problem corrected and are back on the road. I really can't wait to see this car since you told me about it. Say, where are the hubcaps?
