I'm happy it didn't end up in a derby.

FB Description
1969 Chrysler New Yorker with 440 V8 and Torqflight transmission. Car has been sitting since 1984. I've put new fuel pump, water pump and spark plugs in it as well as new brakes in rear with new wheel cylinders. Car will run off a jar of fuel I have mounted in the engine compartment. Will need fuel tank cleaned, additional brake work and a freeze plug replaced on drivers side of engine to drive. Super solid car thats very straight. No real rust to speak of. Floors are solid, trunk is solid, lower body is solid with no rust through. It has power windows but think it will need new switches or at least rebuild these. Needs a dash pad. Power front seat, power steering and power brakes. Previous owner lost the title so if you were to want to drive it you'd have to get a bonded title. Not hard and not real expensive to do. I have contact info for a title company that will do it. I'd hate to see this happen but the drive train could be perfect for a 68-71 muscle car restoration.

That car sure cleaned up nice.
Was the clean up worth 2K? Most likely it was.
