Congrats on picking up this beauty! I had one just like it many years ago, great car for eating miles on the highway. I'd forgotten how much the dash evolved between my 69 Polara and this generation. Like both, just for different reasons!
When I saw this car listed I thought about it for a few minutes. I think it was a good find .

I always find these high option, lower line cars intriguing.
We've seen a few loaded up Polara's over the last five years or so.
It would be interesting to know the thought process of the original owner.
I can guarantee that this was an ordered car and not a dealer stock unit. Did the person who ordered it dislike the front end treatment on the Monaco's, or did he insist on getting a car with all the power accessories but his budget maxed out on the Polara and couldn't move up to Monaco?

Very nice '73 Polara! Interesting to note the huge difference in front end design to the Monaco of the same year, also to the '72 Polara front.

I had a 72 Polara Pursuit and replaced it with a 72 Monaco Brougham more door HT. Liked em both but preferred the Monaco.
