Passenger side went smooth. Driver side not so much. Replacing old leafs springs with ESPO Spring packs. 6 leaf 1” over stock
There is nothing available new, but you probably know that.
I think the short "bolt" could be pressed out of a regular set of straight shackles and pressed into your old ones. I've been wanting to try that.
The long "bolt"... That's another story. A bolt with a sleeve could do the job. Know anyone with a lathe?
That long stud is much longer.
Thank you. Good to know. That long stud is much longer.
Too bad... Damn bosses ruin the fun.Fortunately I work in a rather very large machine shop BUT Unfortunately trying to get “Government” jobs as we call them done here with the eyes is near impossible.
I have a question, what’s the difference between 68 and 70 style shackles? They are both offset. I really only need the studs….

But, I think you know what I'm talking about. If you can find a piece of tubing that the OD is correct and the ID is the size of the bolt, you can do it all by hand with a hack saw and a file.
What is that from?Don’t burn me for this but I’m trying this out. So far so good. Little wonky on the thread length. The knurled end wasnt bad.

i believe i got new ones from things n things
Nobody makes these.
You know, I've thought a couple times about how they could be rebuilt. Just make new pins, like you did, and press them into the old struts. Same for the steering couplers, it's all pretty simple stuff. As simple as they are I’m surprised they are not being reproduced
I don't want to do them though. I'm done working... I'm retired.
You have no idea how that has become my mantra.
