I know its not to the taste of everyone but I like it. I used a scoop from racecomposites. The quality wasn't exactly as good as I expected but I made it work. I cut two 4" holes in the hood above the aircleaner, so far I noticed a good bit in Temp difference while driving. I also designed and cut the vinyl decal.

I dont know what happend to my thread with the overspray but I got most of it off with a claybar.

Question tho, would you paint the cowl part black too or leave as is?

Still waiting in my new rims....

Leave the cowl body color, but do paint the lower grille/body piece just above the front bumper to match the hood.

Just some thoughts,

YES! That will most likely happen! I could have done a better paintjob on the hood but I had to work with rattlecans in the parkinglot... not happy about it abut its 'ok'
Gonna be doing some underhood work too. Fitting a custom insulation or something...

Knebel: Just wondering what you were thinking of doing for custom insulation as i have been thinking of using foil backed insulation on the underside of the hood the aftermarket pads are junk they don't fit properly and the don't last i have replaced mine twice in the last 3 years they fall apart. I bought a molded fiberglass pad and the thickness is not correct (too thick) the original style fasteners supplied with it are not even long enough to to fit into the holes on the underside of the hood not very happy i tried to install it on Friday we could not get the fasteners to hold the pad on the hood not long enough.

I was thinking something adhesive backed that I would cut to fit the Hood.... or maybe Dynamat has something?

I had an idea for you, black out the entire grill chrome and all and the bumper too, except the body color panel above the bumper...
