Just wondering if anyone has had experience with an engine test run stand. I have 4 rebuilt engines on the floor. Two have been dynoed, but not with the fuel or ignition system that I will be running. Three big block and one small block.
Any thoughts? It seems PRW and Easy Run are the most common.

If you are building and selling motors, a run stand is a wise investment. If you are doing a motor for your own car there really is no point. They take up space. And you end up setting the motor up twice.
If there is something so wrong with the motor that it needs a tear down thats probably an anomaly.
Smoking a flat tappet cam is probably the most common. But really the factory slammed them together by the 1000's with out smoking cams at the rate of hobby builders.
