NOT MINE now on Bring a Trailer with 534 miles 78 NYB

Oh seems that many 'Enthusiasts' (exBaT) have swung over to another auction site, Busted Knuckles or something like that. I had a geeez, GM muscle car after GM muscle car, maybe I should give it some more time and only use the search function.

Where is that site? There used to be a bunch of cool commenters on BaT. We’d really tear cars apart before they became an auction site. Now you’re supposed to be all nice or whatever. I’d like to think they’ve all migrated somewhere.

Yeah. I really dig the impartiality of found ads. Barn Finds doesn’t have the cache that 2009 era BaT had.

Doesn't look all that different. Same amount of exotics and such as BaT
I just did a Plymouth Fury search, zip/zilch/zero/naada, Plymouth search = same, a quick browse, stangs, & 'maros + exotics, Motorcycles (12) very little.
May just needs more time. I didn't delve into the 'Free Auction' or 'Free Listings' so don't know how it operates

As far as I am concerned BaT is a joke nowadays. All it is is a mutual admiration society. Oh, I had that car, and yes I also had that car, and oh my car was so nice, blah, blah, and blah. When I made a critical comment about a car two years ago several people got all bent out of shape and yet my comment was on point. So screw them...

Good One!

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I think someone got offended here when I re-posted the "All it is now is a bunch of Cheerleaders in the comment section" an other persons on a net forum opinion.

The place morphed from 'some guy in a basement' in San Francisco, to being backed by a $$$$$ man or family that is very big in the used car business in NoCal.
They had problems... lawsuits, said Cali Laws don't apply, we're on the worldwide 'net, don't think it worked out well for them, thus the "curated" listings, peppered liberally with language like “reportedly” or “the seller states.”

Now owned by Hearst Publishing, you know Car & Driver and other major motor car publications.

True dat. But...

... he's not claiming it as the real thing.
That means it's 1/2 the price. Yes?
I dunno... It's a little misleading saying "fully restored". What exactly does that mean?

To me, "fully restored" means like it rolled off the assembly line.

Damn, there goes my plan to sell my '67 Dart 270 as a legit GT Hemi car.

Sidenote: Factory Hemi-Darts were 1968.
67 Hemi Darts were from Spaulding.
So be careful on how you order forge your new "reproduction  " tag. :poke:
Spaulding stuffed Hemis into '67 Darts? Didn't know that, but I never pondered it either.
