Aargh....another turquoise car that,s painted blue....!!

Not too far from me to go look at if someone is serious. About 45 minutes south. Pick a nice day so I can hit Bob's BBQ while I'm close.

This car seems familiar to me... I don't remember it specifically though. Probably saw it somewhere.

Not much on the Fender Tag and inside of trunk lid is gold, so this could be a mis-mash of parts. GM air cleaner flip too.

It seems very plain for a Fury III, but I'm not real familiar with them, so I could be completely off the mark here.

I think I spy a little bit of gold on the body trunk lip inside the weather strip so... maybe originally a gold car with a boneyard front clip?
If anyone expecting a numbers car this would have to be looked into.

Also gold popping through on the core support and fender tag.

Aggreed that it is a F3 missing side moldings.
Has Sport Fury wheel covers.
With the formal rooftop it appears to be missi g vinyl top.
Headrests indicate built after January 69.
Seats were redone with cloth inserts.
I know Cortland well. Always do a gas and pee stop there when heading to Joisey or Carlisle lol

Looks like it's back for sale on CL - 1969 Plymouth Fury III Coupe - $7,500? - Syracuse, New York

1966 Ford Mustang in very good condition, 5 speed 6 cyl., Southern car- ZERO RUST- nice interior but no headliner. Was in long term storage, runs and drives good. Also have a 1969 Plymouth Fury 2door- 318 automatic trans.-good tires and brakes -Runs beautifully- Undercarriage has No rust- nice interior. Each could use minor tinkering, but may be used as is. Could not load pics but could possibly forward. Loosing storage. No low ball offers. Serious calls only please. Thanks

Obviously same car, don't know if it's the same seller or not. By the ad, it's now closer to me if someone is interested.

ALL 1969 Fury 3 and 2 cars had side moldings on them

The Fury 1 had nothing down the side

That is why the picture looks so strange!

unless it is a Fury 1 with a Fury 3 nameplate on it..............
Fury III interior, I'm thinking they never replaced the molding when the did the front clip replacement/repair

On the positive side, this does have one of the better reupholstery jobs that we've seen in a while. Though not stock materials, they do look comfy.

If it's not too patched up rust-wise, it certainly has the potential to be a nice car for someone.
