Saw this on FBBO today, a Petty Blue 1970 Fury III 383 4bbl car that recently sold on Ebay. Thought it was pretty interesting and thought I would share it, I actually like it. Gotta be a 1 of 1 I'm thinkin'.....

Say, I see over on FBBO that there are 0 bids. Does that mean it is still for sale?

Doesn't quite look like Petty Blue? Says it was a Fleet Car on its build sheet.

That looks like the blue that was offered in 1972 and called Basin St. Blue. It was most likely called something else in 1970 but not Petty Blue. All the blues I see that people refer to as Petty blue look too light to me.

I see “Special Order” tags. Wonder what it was ordered for? And in Blue! If a municipal fleet car! Those were ordered usually in more earth tone or plain colors like Tan, White, Black or Gold and such.. Anyone??

I believe that to be the case, but I sent the seller a message through the eBay messaging system to find out for sure. Also, I asked for pictures from inside the trunk.

I'll report back here when/if the seller responds to me.

Edit: I sent the message today at 4:44 p.m. EST.
