Dash Pad Question

I have one for my 71 Fury Gran coupe and also have one on my 74 Charger. They are what they are - Not as good as a new dash pad, but looks greatly improved over cracked, mouse-chewed pad.
BTW, Collector Auto is not usually competitive in price (check eBay)

I used two of these on my 71 Torino. First I didn’t follow the instructions to the letter and in the hot Phoenix sun it warped and went all crazy due to the glues placement. The second worked better when I glued it on per the instructions. It still warped a bit. 100% better than a rotten dash pad.

Follow the instructions...

It would be a waste of money to pay that much for a crappy cover in my view.

If you want your vehicle to be a nice car then it is worth investing in real pads from ABCMoparts, a member here who makes very high quality real reproduction dash pads................................

C Body Dash Pads

Some folks have their old dashpads repaired by Just Dashes, which then reskins them for over $1000 plus something like 6 months wait time, which to me isn't a good deal compared to what ABC Moparts gets for a new reproduction on your old metal core. ABC Moparts is currently out of stock on the one you want but check with Bob there to get an estimate when the products needed to make the dashes become available again.

Sounds like you are going to be waiting which ever way you go so if you can live with it for a while the way it is just save some extra $ and get the better product. My .02.
