My fiancé and I have been discussing getting a yard ornament for the acreage.
Saturday, I will be picking up this dude.
It’s a 48 Dodge with a 50 front clip.
Once I get it home, I’ll look it over and determine whether it remains a yard ornament or becomes a driver…

Very cool! Picked up a 48 PW this summer, looking for a running 230, and proper 4 post bed.

That's a correct front clip for a B-1-B, B-2-B ('48-'49-'50) The B-3 and B-4 series had the fronts slightly redesigned.

All I can say is Wow! Any details on it?
I lost all of my build pictures on it. (a failed backup!) 46 WDX, 318 bored and stroked to 396, NV 4500 trans, Atlas transfer case, centered rear diff, original 5.8:1 diffs., A/C, PS, Hydraulic front winch, electric rear winch, fabicated year bed, firewall replaced with 14 gauge sheet, frame and other misc. parts powder coated, color is HOC Blue Blood, leather bucket seats, and an unusual item (electro over hydraulic parking brake) in addition to driveshaft brake.

color is HOC Blue Blood

I have a '64 Impala that was/is to be that color. Some of my under hood parts were painted years ago. We did a white seal/base coat then Blue Blood Red over that. That's some bright stuff in the sun.

Yeppers, the white seal coat is the key. I had a guy repaint some of it and used and different seal coat color, I said that will not work, he did it anyway, and then it looked all wrong. Had to redo the paint!
