If I found a 71 Fury door panel, electric windows, any recs on how I could change color to correct gold? Thanks, Ben

I dyed my replacement (green)panels white years ago and they still look good. Go with Big John’s suggestion - SEM. My seats still look good too but wear from sitting has caused me to touch up the seats once over many years of use and these were black to light blue. The stuff works...

Prep before spraying is the key to a long lasting original look. I scrub with a bristle brush in all directions using FOAMY engine cleaner. That stuff breaks
down all the years of oils, dirt, and vinyl protectants. Rinse with water and dry and try not to touch the surface with your hands. I agree that SEM vinyl sprays are the best. Good luck.

The SEM paint works great, with one caveat... You might have to send a piece of vinyl to SEM to color match as the selection of spray may not be an exact match. Then you have to find a shop that will mix that SEM paint. It may be easier to find a PPG shop to match and mix the paint, I never went that direction, so I don't know.

Never used the paint from Herb's either, but have heard good things and you may find a matching color. Mopar Restoration and Performance E-BODY PAINT, Interior Paint

No matter what paint you use, the prep is everything. I have a couple pieces in my car that were painted before I owned it and the lack of prep for some of these pieces comes back to haunt me.

A decent video on prep:

Thanks for all the responses.
I watched the prep video.
Paint mixing is going to be the real challenge to match H5Y5 High grade cloth and vinyl bucket seats, medium gold interior trim.
Any idea how much the paint mixing costs?
Do I need to buy a spray gun?
