Hi everyone,
Model builder here.
I decided to purchase a 1970 Sport Fury about 6 months ago. I don't really know why except that I got tired of all the b bodies I see and here about all the time. Don't get me wrong. My first car was a 69 Charger bought in 1976. It was R4 red with black vinyl top auto/383 4bbl. Sold it after 4 years so I could get a luxury ride. A 76 Grand Prix Big mistake!!. My brother found another one identical to it in New York about 15 years ago. Bought it. Decided to sell it to my younger brother to keep it in the family (will never sell it). Started to jones for another car. Found this 1970 Sport fury. It is in good condition. Replaced the fuel tank, brake lines, front shocks (will talk about that issue later), pads and shoes. It needs the drivers bucket seat recovered and some electrical work for the HVAC.
As you can see by my name I build model kits. Been doing that for 50 years. Still have a lot to know about that hobby. Looking forward to talking to everybody on "C" bodies.
I an adding a few pics of my Fury and a diorama I've built. Can you guess what it is about?

Welcome to the wonderful world of C Bodies. Great looking car. And neat diorama too!

Welcome from NYC, nice looking Fury, congrats. You’re in the right place to learn anything and everything you wanna know about your car. Cool hobby by the way, I used to do it a lot as a kid as well. Miss those days for sure. Welcome to the site.

Welcome from Virginia!

Great car! Is the color GY8 gold on the fender tag?

Like the Diorama hobby. Also, a big fan of Dick Landy as a man and a drag racer. I got to hear him once I think at Chryslers at Carlisle. He and Herb McCandless were answering tech questions. He had the big cigar then too.
