Wow....very nice .... I've done a few Black cars but non with the expanse of sheet metal that your Chrysler has ... That alone puts extra pressure on getting the body work as straight as possible. The black cars I did were '57's and 58's which had the sportone trim to break up the sides! We always had a joke about very bad paint jobs as in "Looks like he did it with a rag and a stick in a windy parking lot" . Your job certainly does not fall into that category !
From the way it's coming together your car will most certainly be a "stand out" in any parking lot. Well Done!!

I'm especially excited about how the roof turned out, didn't expect to find this under the old vinyl..

Had some trouble deciding what to do here, as I figured these would be way too deep for any filler but the inner frame wasn't metal so welding also wasn't an option I thought. Ended up bridging the gaps with an epoxy fibre glass laminate and put a skim layer of filler on top of that to smooth it out.

Leaving the old vinyl wasn't an option as it was in terrible shape and I didn't want to wait for new vinyl to get back in stock so I made due

Excellent work!
3 things from this point..
Wet sand
Cut
Buff
Okay I've been looking into this a little and I want to give it a go myself so it'll probably end up being this years winter project.

I found some good info on painting on here before but I was wondering if there are also any quick-and-dirty how-to threads on cutting and buffing?

I like the way that you disguised the fiberglass plug for the rear windshield. Especially with a black car! Very nice.

Thank you! Laminating fibreglass mats was another thing I hadn't done before and will have to wait and see how durable it is but for now it looks good.
