Not sure which way to go with wheels. I have 3 choices. Stock with original wheel covers, road wheels or chrome Cragers. I'm leaning towards the Stock look with the wheel covers. What do you think?

If you can afford white walls I would do that with the factory hubcap but, if you like the Blackwall what about a dog dish on a black-painted wheel?

I have always loved those factory covers. The way they set proud of the wheel.. they are a pita to put on sometimes though. I like the original look…. Reminds me of the cars seen on tv in the 70’s.

If you do the road wheels, you might be able to remove the trim rings and attach the stock wheel covers without removing the wheels from the car any time you decided to change it up a bit. Just depends on whether the stock wheel cover will fit over the road wheel center cap. I know I can do that on the rally wheels on my 68 Barracuda with the factory wire wheel covers.

If you'd like my personal opinion, I'd run the basic black painted steel with either white walls or raised letters. Although the torque thrust would set it off.

Those torq thrusts would look better in Minnesota on a slab, too much for that wagon. :poke:But seriously...
