Where can I purchase a 1966 Chrysler 300 windshield washer bottle that is reasonably prices? I found one at $75.00, which is more than I wanted to spend on a plastic bottle. Thanks!

Considering what a fuselage bottle goes for, that $75 is cheap.

Someone here might have a used one but you won't find a new one cheaper.

Yes, that $75 is probably money well spent. Most of the 60+ year old originals are pretty much trash by now. I remember pulling a very nice water bottle in a yard, a few years back. Set it up on a shelf, and basically forgot about it. When I came across it again, it had basically disintegrated into dust!
My only criticism of the new bottles is that they're too bright. I wish I could find a way to age them just a little bit, so they don't jump out at you when you open the hood . . .

My '67 Monaco bottle was fine when I stored the car 20 years ago. When I took the car out a couple months ago, the bottle had cracked and will now crack very easily. I'm also seeing $60 - $75 for new reproduction ones. Every place that sells these also sells an aged-look version (slightly yellow) for $10 more.

I might try to pour some fiberglass resin inside it, let it sit on different sides so it cures and maybe creates an even coating all around the inside.

Here's one I put in a 65 300 some years ago.
Is from a mid/late 90s Crown Vic and it fit pretty easily with a simple aluminum hanger plate.
Won't fit all Slabs as some have a starter relay mounted where the 'point' of the bottle is. (my 68 Fury has a relay there)

I thought about CNC'ing some nicer mounting plates for a reasonable price - but after a guy buys that plate from me, pays shipping, buys a Vic bottle - he'd likely be into it for $50-75 total and I figured everybody would want the correct bottle in there... :stop:

Now that's a creative solution, on the cheap! Bet there's tons of good Crown Vic bottles available for next to nothing . . .

Yeah, I got the bottle for free from a buddy. U-Pick yards probably have those bottles for $5-10.

Excellent work, @MoPar~Man! I see you joined just a few months ago, and that is a very informative contribution - that's how we like it, keep up the good work!

New bottle is $19.61 from Rock Auto. Includes pump, cap, everything but a wiring pigtail. Prices on wiring parts almost make it prudent to get the whole thing from a JY.
